Chiefs Confirm Alleged Abuse Allegations Connected to Wide Receiver the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs issued a statement on Wednesday evening stating they have knowledge of claims of abuse circulated in online accounts by a former girlfriend of wide receiver Rashee Rice and were in contact with the NFL.

The organization did not mention Rice specifically in their statement and stated they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

Claims Shared on Social Media

The woman, who likewise did not name the athlete by name, shared a series of photos on Instagram that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. Jones did say the person involved was the parent of her kids, and reports indicate she has kids with the football player, whom the Chiefs selected in the second round.
